The morning view from my window after a freezing night hiding under two blankets and fully dressed. Now getting ready for another long hike with full load.
Not the best picture maybe, but thats what i look like after choosing the wrong way ending up at the highest mountain in the area.
And of course, the view from my hostel where i enjoy some rose tea in the sun, breath the fresh air and are embraced by the silence of nature!
So after 23 hours on train, two bus rides and a hike up the mountain, i can 27 hours after leaving shanghai relax in the run with a cup of tea and enjoy the view.
The chicken was as expected, full of bones but with good enough taste…the rice makes up for it ![]()
On self brought menu is: instant rice noodles, wheat bread with garlic tartare cheese, a banana and hot tea.
My phone is a bit limited so saw that i uploaded the latest picture from JCIs meeting in shanghai instead of this one.
First report from my small adventure to the south province of china, guanxi. There the initial plan is to hike in rice fields, do rock climbing and bike around. Weather forecast is bad so let see what happens…still got 23 hours on train left!
A few weeks ago we had a party with mainly taiwanese friends at our home….it ended up in a card game with a lot of drinks involved.
